I am so pumped for tomorrow at Xcel Church Darlington. I am excited about where God is taking us. Just over 6 months ago we didn’t even exist but now I sense that we are capturing the heart of God for people and realising what kind of Church God wants us to become.

I am ready to preach my socks off. I will be continuing to talk about how we can be influencers in our world with simple ideas that we can take away and put into practice straight away. Hey Church, come early, grab a coffee, hang out with friends and be ready to praise Him for all He has done in your world this week and expectant of what God is going to do.

When I was praying this morning I was really impressed with some thoughts…

…God’s unfailing love! WOW!! Despite my best efforts, my failings, sin, wrong words, bad attitudes, wrong thoughts, disappointments, missed opportunities – He still loves me. There is nothing that I can do that will make Him love me any less and there is nothing that I can do that will make Him love me any more! Thanks for reminding me of that God.

…don’t ignore the prompting of the Holy Spirit. You know, when someones name comes into your mind for no apparent reason. Maybe it’s the Holy Spirit nudging you into action – to pray for them, call them, do something for them, go round. Don’t always ignore it.

…don’t be distracted. This is so much on my heart at the moment. I never want to miss out on what God has for me. It is too easy to let the right stuff become the wrong stuff. When we talked at Church last week about the ‘Banquet parable’ they had valid reasons – cows, fields and new wife. We (me included) can be the same – stuff/material possessions, houses and relationships. I don’t know…just be careful.

…Sunday is going to rock. Pray for the day. Darlo – new people, new Christians. Durham – new beginning, venue, new people, a great start. Aycliffe – to see something incredible happen. Don’t know about you but I am praying for breakthrough – I can see more people than we have, I can see people giving their lives to Jesus.

What do you see? What’s God saying to you right now?
