Be Reconciled

Cannot escape this thought I had whilst preparing for my message tomorrow…

To remain unreconciled with another is a major obstacle to you getting locked on to your destiny.

The Apostle Paul said that we have been given the ministry of reconciliation.

We must therefore be models of reconciliation.
We must be the people who reestablish relationships that are broken.
We must be the people who settle or resolve issues & differences.

Does not acting in this manner effect our ability to lock on to our destiny?

Just looking for some thoughts from any Pastors…

  1. Forgiveness id one thing, be reconciled, wow that is rough. The Savior said,”leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.”
I started preaching at a mess. A lot of the folk on one half of a conflict were gone from the church, others were dead, and still there was bitterness. Wow!
Nothing I could do would lead them to a path of peace.
I get the definition of being reconciled to God, but honestly , not sure about fellow man part. With God I know He is right and I am not. With a person, maybe I am right?
I like what it says in Hebrews, “as much as possible be at peace with your fellows.”
You hit it on the three we musts. The Holy Spirit is there to lean on, thank you Jesus.
Destiny? wow that is deep! I guess any sin could keep us away from God’s best.
