Great time of worship early this morning. Reminded about the power of the cross. There is no other religion that offers access to such a victory. The cross is the ultimate sign of Gods redemptive powers.

Victory over death.
Victory over sin.
Victory over sickness.

In all our doing of life we must not forget the benefits bought for us by the blood of Jesus. With this in mind I prayed for some people at Xcel Church, taking hold of the promises of God, taking hold of my mustard seed sized faith and exercising it, taking hold of the fact that Jesus said that we can ask the Father for things in His name and it will be done.

Thank you for the cross. Through the cross I have new life. Fresh beginnings. Access to God. It is the most precious thing…oh, how I take it forgranted sometimes. A gentle reminder is always useful.

What does the cross of Christ mean to you?

  1. The day I knelt at the foot of the cross I begun to live the life I was born for, and all I need is at the cross… Thank you Jesus !!

  2. Im learning what it means..its a slow process and I dont think I still fully get it but I DO know however that it means that I CAN have life and have it to the full… its learning how to get the fullness thats tough going sometimes but its wonderful taking ground, step by step

  3. Hi! i’m Njongo Cokoto from South Africa.the cross of Christ to me is my life, because Jesus once said that when the seed of the grain falls down and don’t die, it can not produce any fruit but when it falls and dies it produces more fruits; and that parable was actually talking about His death on the cross for me to live. “He who knew not sin He has made sin for us, that we might become God’s righteousness in Him” 2 Cor 5:21. the cross of Christ is the answer to all of our problems.
