I don’t know where you stand on Christianity but this weekend is the pivotal moment.
The cross equals love.
It is a strange thing to say but I believe it is true. The cross of Jesus Christ equals a clear demonstration of the live that God has for the world.
Jesus came as the answer to the question many people have when they ask, ‘why won’t God do something’?
Jesus came and gave himself because His father, our God asked him too.
Jesus came and bought for us a way to reconnect with God, to receive forgiveness, to have everlasting life.
Take a moment today and think about the impact of the cross.
Take a moment today and think about Jesus and you response to him.
Take a moment today and if you are a Christian remember to say ‘Thank You’ to Jesus for saving us.
Christ arrives right on time to make this happen. He didn’t, and doesn’t, wait for us to get ready. He presented himself for this sacrificial death when we were far too weak and rebellious to do anything to get ourselves ready. And even if we hadn’t been so weak, we wouldn’t have known what to do anyway. We can understand someone dying for a person worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice. But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him. (Romans 5:6-8 MSG)
