Leading Well in Life

Whenever I think about leadership, I am not thinking about the position but about the person.

Obviously my faith plays a huge part in my leadership. I may work for a church in a leadership role but that doesn’t mean I am only about creating more leaders for church.

That’s daft anyway, not everyone can be a leader in church but we can all be leaders right where we are – in the home, in our marriage, with our kids, at work, in our business, hanging out with friends – basically anywhere!!

If we can learn to lead well in life then we are better placed to lead and influence others wherever we are.

If we can learn to lead well in life then we will recognise that where we are is the place God may want us to be.

If we can learn to lead well in life then we will learn to not dismiss the opportunities right in front of us.

If we can learn to lead well in life we will be the people of God who can see the spiritual in the ordinary, every day aspects of our lives.

If we can learn to lead well in life then we become people God can use to build His kingdom and make a difference for Him.

In what areas do you think we need help to be better equipped to lead well in life?
